Miranda Smiles in Miranda NSW is seeking a friendly, experienced Dental Assistant with reception experience to join our long-established practice. The role blends clinical chairside support with front-desk responsibilities, contributing to patient care and a welcoming environment.

We offer a competitive hourly rate ($30–$40 per hour), a part-time or casual arrangement, and a supportive team in a modern practice located near public transport and Westfield.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a dental assistant.
• Dental reception and customer-service experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A warm and professional manner with patients.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A positive, reliable and proactive attitude.
• Valid Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Chairside assisting during a range of dental procedures.
• Sterilisation and infection-control procedures.
• Supporting patients before, during and after treatment.
• Preparing and maintaining surgeries.
• Helping maintain a clean, organised and welcoming practice.
• Assisting with reception and front-desk operations.
• Patient enquiries and appointment coordination.
• General administrative and team support as required.
