Job summary

Bupa is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant for a permanent part-time position at our Miranda clinic, located near public transport. The role supports safe clinical care, maintains infection control standards, and ensures sterile, well-organised treatment rooms for six chairs.

Qualifications

• Ideally 6 months’ experience as a Dental Assistant in Australia.
• Provide chair-side assistance for dental procedures including suction, passing instruments, mixing techniques, and assisting in x-ray procedures.
• Ensure treatment rooms and instruments are cleaned and prepared per infection control standards.
• Follow service quality, WHS policies to ensure high-quality, safe services.
• Demonstrated motivation in a fast-paced, dynamic role.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organised with attention to detail and ability to build rapport with patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide chair-side assistance for dental professionals during treatments.
• Sterilise and process dental equipment and maintain clean treatment rooms.
• Ensure compliance with infection control standards and BDC procedures.
• Support the delivery of safe clinical care and contribute to patient care goals.
