Job summary

The Maven Dental Windsor practice, part of the Abano Healthcare Group, invites applications for a Part-time Dental Assistant. The role offers approximately 38–40 hours per fortnight, with potential for additional hours as the practice grows.

You will provide chairside assistance, prepare treatment rooms, and support clinicians to ensure smooth appointments while maintaining a patient-focused, hygienic environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant; Certificate III in Dental Assisting or above is desirable.
• Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures and infection control.
• Experience using dental software and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a busy team environment.
• Genuine patient-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Providing chairside assistance during dental procedures.
• Preparing treatment rooms and ensuring instruments and equipment are ready.
• Completing sterilisation and infection control procedures.
• Maintaining equipment and keeping clinical areas clean and organised.
• Supporting clinicians to keep appointments running smoothly.

Job Description
