Job summary

Maven Dental Windsor is hiring a Part-time Dental Assistant to join a supportive practice within the Abano Healthcare network. The role focuses on quality patient care and a positive experience for every patient, with opportunities to gain hands-on experience alongside experienced clinicians.

The position is approximately 38 to 40 hours per fortnight, with potential for additional hours as the practice grows.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Dental Assisting or above is desirable.
• Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures and infection control.
• Experience using dental software and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a busy team environment.
• Genuine patient-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Preparing treatment rooms and ensuring instruments and equipment are ready.
• Completing sterilisation and infection control procedures.
• Maintaining equipment and keeping clinical areas clean and organised.
• Supporting clinicians to keep appointments running smoothly.
• Helping patients feel comfortable throughout their visit.
• Providing post-treatment care instructions when required.
• Assisting with general practice and administrative tasks.
