Job summary

Primary Dental is seeking a Casual Dental Assistant to join our dental team in Leichhardt to provide exceptional patient care and chairside assistance across a variety of procedures.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, supporting dentists and the broader team while developing dental knowledge with our supportive group. A Cert III in Dental Assisting is preferred and relevant experience is valued.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside dental assistance to dentists.
• Deliver exceptional patient care and customer service.
• Instrument processing, sterilisation and infection control.

• Foster professional relationships with team, patients and staff.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Answer telephone calls and enquiries; provide administration support.

The Role

We are looking for a CasualDental Assistant to join our dental team in Leichhardtwhere you will provide exceptional patient care and chairside dental assistance in a variety of dental procedures. This is a busy, fast-paced role where you will be given the opportunity to further develop your dental knowledge and skills by our supportive team.

The Responsibilities

• Providing all aspects of chairside dental assistance to our Dentists
• Delivering exceptional dental care and excellent customer service
• Instrument reprocessing and sterilisation procedures
• Advising patients of care
• Fostering professional working relationships with team members, patients and medical staff
• Maintaining compliance with organisational policies and procedures
• Answering telephone calls and enquiries
• Administration support

The Successful Candidates

• Possess excellent communication skills
• Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Have a strong work ethic and excellent attention to detail
• Possess a Cert III in Dental Assisting and/or have three or more years’ dental assisting experience preferred
