Job summary

Primary Dental in Melton is seeking a Full Time Dental Assistant to join our busy practice. You will provide exceptional chairside support, assist Dentists, and help deliver quality patient care across a range of procedures.

We're looking for someone with a Cert III in Dental Assisting (or equivalent) and/ or 3+ years of experience. You will work with a friendly team and have opportunities for training and career development within the ForHealth Group.

Qualifications

• Cert III in Dental Assisting (or equivalent).
• Three+ years' dental assisting experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside dental assistance to Dentists.
• Deliver exceptional patient care and service.
• Instrument processing and sterilisation procedures.
• Advise patients on care.
• Maintain compliance with organisational policies.
• Answering telephone calls and enquiries; Administration support.

The Role

We are looking for a Full Time Dental Assistant to join our dental team in Melton where you will provide exceptional patient care and chairside dental assistance in a variety of dental procedures. This is a busy, fast-paced role where you will be given the opportunity to further develop your dental knowledge and skills by our supportive team.

The Responsibilities

• Providing all aspects of chairside dental assistance to our Dentists
• Delivering exceptional dental care and excellent customer service
• Instrument reprocessing and sterilisation procedures
• Advising patients of care
• Fostering professional working relationships with team members, patients and medical staff
• Maintaining compliance with organisational policies and procedures
• Answering telephone calls and enquiries
• Administration support

The Successful Candidates

• Possess excellent communication skills
• Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Have a strong work ethic and excellent attention to detail
• Possess a Cert III in Dental Assisting and/or have three or more years’ dental assisting experience preferred
