Primary Dental is seeking a casual Dental Assistant to support our Southport and Robina clinics on the Gold Coast. You will deliver chairside assistance, sterilisation, and patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Availability on Saturdays is required, with training and development opportunities offered within a supportive ForHealth Group network and a friendly team. The role involves working across multiple procedures, maintaining high standards of hygiene and patient service, and contributing

Qualifications

• Must have Cert III in Dental Assisting or 3+ years’ dental assisting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside dental assistance to dentists
• Deliver exceptional patient care and customer service
• Instrument reprocessing and sterilisation procedures
• Advise patients on care
• Foster professional relationships with team, patients, and medical staff
• Maintain compliance with policies and procedures

The Role

We are looking for a casualDental Assistant to join our dental team to work across our Southport and Robina clinics, where you will provide exceptional patient care and chairside dental assistance in a variety of dental procedures. This is a busy, fast-paced role where you will be given the opportunity to further develop your dental knowledge and skills by our supportive team. For this role, availability on a Saturday is required.

The Responsibilities

• Providing all aspects of chairside dental assistance to our Dentists
• Delivering exceptional dental care and excellent customer service
• Instrument reprocessing and sterilisation procedures
• Advising patients of care
• Fostering professional working relationships with team members, patients and medical staff
• Maintaining compliance with organisational policies and procedures
• Answering telephone calls and enquiries
• Administration support

The Successful Candidates

• Possess excellent communication skills
• Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Have a strong work ethic and excellent attention to detail
• Possess a Cert III in Dental Assisting and/or have three or more years’ dental assisting experience preferred
