Primary Dental in Baulkham Hills is seeking a Casual Dental Assistant to support our busy dental team with chairside assistance and patient care across a range of procedures. You will work closely with dentists and front-of-house staff in a fast-paced setting.

The role offers training and development within a supportive team, with requirements including a Cert III in Dental Assisting or 3+ years' experience, and strong communication and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Cert III in Dental Assisting or 3+ years' dental assisting experience.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced dental environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside dental assistance to dentists.

The Role

We are looking for a Casual Dental Assistant to join our dental team in Baulkham Hills where you will provide exceptional patient care and chairside dental assistance in a variety of dental procedures. This is a busy, fast-paced role where you will be given the opportunity to further develop your dental knowledge and skills by our supportive team.

The Responsibilities

• Providing all aspects of chairside dental assistance to our Dentists
• Delivering exceptional dental care and excellent customer service
• Instrument reprocessing and sterilisation procedures
• Advising patients of care
• Fostering professional working relationships with team members, patients and medical staff
• Maintaining compliance with organisational policies and procedures
• Answering telephone calls and enquiries
• Administration support

The Successful Candidates

• Possess excellent communication skills
• Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Have a strong work ethic and excellent attention to detail
• Possess a Cert III in Dental Assisting and/or have three or more years’ dental assisting experience preferred
