Job summary

The Tooth Affair in New South Wales is expanding and seeking a kind, energetic dental assistant to join a close-knit team. The role focuses on chairside assisting, instrument sterilisation and reception duties, contributing to high-quality patient care during appointments.

Past experience is preferred but not mandatory; the successful candidate without experience can undertake Certificate III and/or IV in Dental Assisting for 12 months, with the potential for ongoing employment.

Qualifications

• Past experience would be preferred but not mandatory.
• The selected candidate with no experience will be given the option to undertake Certificate III and/or IV in Dental Assisting for a duration of 12 months with the possibility of ongoing employment.

Job description

As we continue to expand we are looking for a kind,empathetic and energetic team member to join us. Our team at The Tooth Affair is very close knit in providing an exceptional dental experience to our patients.

We are open to both full-time and part-time applicants.

Dental assistant is a dynamic role which mainly consists of chair side assisting,sterilisation of instruments and reception duties.You will be directly involved in delivering care to the patient at their appointment.You will manage patient intake, update patient records, schedule appointments and more. You will help the dentist directly during procedures, manage and sterilise equipment, stock take,discuss and promote oral hygiene to patients.

Past experience would be preferred but not mandatory.The selected candidate with no experience will be given the option to undertake Certificate III and/or IV in Dental Assisting for a duration of 12 months with the possibility of ongoing employment.
