Job summary

Pure Dentistry in Brisbane Southside is seeking a dental assistant who has completed or is currently studying a Cert IV in Dental Assisting. The role offers $45–$47 per hour plus super, with advanced chairside work and opportunities to develop sedation-assisting skills.

You’ll work across general, children’s and emergency dentistry, support the dentist, prepare equipment, and help supervise trainees. The clinic uses AI-assisted notes, 3D X-rays and EMS Airflow to support preventive care.

Qualifications

• Completed Cert IV in Dental Assisting or currently enrolled.
• Australian citizenship or permanent residency.
• Availability to work 38 hours per week.
• Own car and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist with general and complex treatments, prepare equipment, and anticipate the dentist’s next step.
• Help anxious patients feel at ease.
• Maintain meticulous infection control and sterilisation.
• Progress towards sedation assisting.
• Guide our trainees, sharing habits and practical know-how.
