You didn't stop at Cert III, and honestly, that tells us plenty. You’ve Earned the Qualification. Now Broaden Your Scope.
Pure Dentistry is looking for a dental assistant who has completed, or is currently studying, their Cert IV. We offer $45–$47 per hour + super, advanced chairside work and opportunities to develop your sedation-assisting skills.
Location: Pure Dentistry, Upper Mount Gravatt, Brisbane Southside, in The Village Shopping Centre. Secure staff parking on site.
About Pure Dentistry:
We're a QIP-accredited, multi-dentist private clinic caring for patients aged 2 to 92. You may work across general, children's, and emergency dentistry, plus sedation cases that most dental clinics never get to see. The tools match the work: AI-assisted clinical notes, DiagnoCam diagnostics, 3D X-rays and the EMS Airflow system for preventive care. The most old-fashioned thing here is the handshake on your first day.
Your eye for detail helps appointments run smoothly, and patients feel supported. You’ll:
Assist with general and complex treatments, prepare equipment, and anticipate the dentist’s next step.
Help anxious patients feel at ease. A calm voice matters just as much as a ready instrument.
Maintain meticulous infection control and sterilisation. Your attention to the little things makes a big difference.
Progress towards sedation assisting.
Guide our trainees, sharing the habits and practical know-how that make a capable assistant.
$45–$47 per hour + super, with your starting rate based on your qualifications and experience.
Full-time hours: 38 per week.
Opportunities to develop sedation-assisting skills and gain experience with complex treatments.
Modern equipment and technology to support your work.
Secure staff parking, because finding a park shouldn’t be your first clinical challenge.
A completed Cert IV in Dental Assisting, or current enrolment.
Australian citizenship or permanent residency.
A current driver’s licence and your own car.
Availability to work 38 hours per week.
A caring manner, reliable work habits and high standards.
A willingness to learn, contribute and help others improve.
We review applications as they arrive. Shortlisted applicants will need to bring proof of qualification or enrolment to their interview.
