Job summary

Artlab Dental Pty Ltd in Silverdale, NSW, seeks a friendly Dental Assistant to join a growing team. The role starts on a casual basis (1–3 days/week), with the potential to move to a permanent part-time position (3–4 days/week) as the partnership develops.

Hours are 8:30am–5:30pm with a one-hour lunch. We value reliability, punctuality and a positive attitude, and welcome applicants with or without formal dental experience who are eager to learn.

Artlab Dental is a modern dental practice in Silverdale, and we are looking for a Dental Assistant to join our growing team.

We are looking for someone who is reliable, punctual, positive and has a strong work ethic. Dental experience is certainly valued, but just as importantly, we are looking for someone with a bright personality who takes pride in their work, works well with others and genuinely wants to become part of the team long-term.

About the position

The position will initially be offered on a casual basis, approximately 1–3 days per week, depending on your availability and the needs of the practice.

We believe it is important for both the employee and the practice to have some time working together before making a longer-term commitment.

For the right person, once we have worked together for a period of time and both sides feel that it is a good fit, we would be happy to discuss transitioning to a permanent part-time position of approximately 3–4 days per week.

Our usual working hours are 8:30am–5:30pm, with a one-hour lunch break.

About the role

Your duties may include:

• Chairside assisting for general, restorative, surgical and other dental procedures

• Assisting with stock organisation

Who we are looking for

Previous dental assisting experience is highly regarded, although we are also open to applicants who may be newer to dentistry but demonstrate the right attitude and willingness to learn.
