Responsibilities

• Assisting the dentist during treatment procedures, including passing instruments and maintaining the surgical field
• Preparing treatment rooms and ensuring all equipment is sterile, functional and properly maintained
• Taking and processing dental radiographs (X-rays) following appropriate safety protocols
• Mixing and preparing dental materials, cements and other compounds as required
• Welcoming patients in a friendly and professional manner
• Maintaining infection control and sterilisation procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements
• Helping to manage inventory for ordering of dental supplies and material

• Previous experience in a dental practice is highly desirable
