Job summary

National Dental Care is seeking two Dental Assistants to support our modern Ashfield practice on a casual basis. You will provide high-quality clinical and administrative assistance to clinicians while engaging with patients in a positive, professional manner.

About the Role

As a Dental Assistant in our thrivingAshfield practice, you’ll play a key role in clinical treatment. You’ll confidently and expertly provide high quality clinical and administrative assistance to practice clinicians, as well as engage with patients in a positive and professional way. Your energetic nature and strong organisational skills will help to ensure the ongoing success of the practice and the satisfaction of patients.

This role offers approximately 3-4 days per week, with successful candidates participating in a rotating roster across our 7-day practice. As weekend coverage is an essential part of our operations, flexibility to work weekends is required.

Skills & Experience

You have:

• Minimum 1 year experience as a Dental Assistant
• Mandarin and/or Cantonese language skills - highly desirable
• Certificate III in Dental Assisting (or currently studying towards a Certificate III) - encouraged to apply

You are:

• Highly professional, with a polished image and good personal presentation
• An excellent communicator - both written and oral - with strong attention to detail
• Extremely organised, with the ability to prioritise busy workloads and manage multiple demands within required timeframes
• Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic
