Job summary

Dental O So Gentle Beldon is seeking a professional and experienced Dental Assistant to join our busy, patient-focused practice on a part-time basis, working alternate Wednesdays and every Saturday. You will join a supportive and friendly team in our modern, cosy practice dedicated to high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Dental Assistant is essential.
• Cert III or IV in Dental Assisting is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritise tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Capability to address patient concerns and resolve issues with professionalism and empathy.
• Attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Patient Care: Assist with patient management, including greeting patients, preparing them for procedures, and ensuring their comfort.
• Clinical Support: Prepare and sterilise dental instruments, assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, and maintain a clean and organised treatment area.
• Inventory Management: Monitor dental supplies levels, ensuring the treatment room is well-stocked and organised.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with dentists, hygienists, and other staff to ensure a smooth workflow and positive patient experience.
• Compliance: Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols, as well as regulatory requirements in the dental practice.
