Job summary

Liberty Industrial is seeking an experienced Demolition Supervisor to lead site crews and subcontractors across Australia. The role is hands-on, with a strong field presence, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to project requirements.

You will drive safety, sequencing and performance while coordinating with project teams. The position offers permanent full-time work with exposure to major industrial projects and opportunities for development. FIFO rosters may apply.

Qualifications

• Proven supervisory experience in heavy industrial demolition, decommissioning or construction.
• Strong leadership with experience guiding site-based crews.
• Strong safety leadership and ability to set expectations and address unsafe behaviours.
• Experience coordinating employees and subcontract labour safely and productively.
• Hands-on approach with understanding of work sequencing and site conditions.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships across site teams.
• Ability to work FIFO and across project locations as requirements change.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate site crews and subcontractors to deliver works safely and productively.
• Conduct pre-start meetings, allocate work and communicate daily priorities and challenges.
• Maintain a strong field presence and engage with the workforce.
• Drive compliance with safety requirements, procedures and project standards.
• Identify hazards and implement preventative measures.
• Facilitate toolbox talks, inductions and safety briefings.
• Collaborate with Project Manager and HSEQ to address safety and training needs.
• Escalate significant hazards and incidents as required.
• Support safe sequencing and execution of demolition activities.
• Ensure plant and equipment are operated and maintained to requirements.
• Build strong relationships and address performance issues appropriately.
