Job summary

RH Demolition is seeking an experienced Demolition Leading Hand / Supervisor to oversee day-to-day on-site activities in Sydney, NSW. This full-time role (or casual) focuses on supervising crews, maintaining safety standards, and coordinating project objectives.

You will conduct toolbox talks, inspect worksites and equipment, manage logistics, and mentor team members to uphold high workmanship across projects.

Qualifications

• Current White Card (WHS induction) or equivalent qualification.
• 2 years in a supervisory or leading hand capacity.
• Strong knowledge of demolition techniques, equipment and safety regulations.
• Demonstrated experience managing teams and resolving workplace issues.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate demolition crews on site, ensuring safety and schedule.
• Conduct daily site briefings and toolbox talks to reinforce safety and objectives.
• Inspect worksites and equipment to identify hazards and implement corrective measures.
• Manage site logistics, including waste removal, material handling and equipment placement.
• Communicate regularly with project managers and clients.
• Train and mentor crew members to develop skills and ensure performance standards.
• Maintain accurate site records, including timesheets and incident reports.
• Operate and maintain demolition equipment as required.

RH Demolition Team is seeking an experienced Demolition Leading Hand / Supervisor to join our team in Sydney, NSW. This is a full-time position or Casual, As a key member of our management team, you will oversee day-to-day demolition activities, supervise crews, and maintain the highest standards of safety and workmanship across all projects.

What you'll be doing

• Supervising and coordinating demolition crews on site, ensuring all work is completed safely and to schedule
• Conducting daily site briefings and toolbox talks to reinforce safety protocols and project objectives
• Inspecting worksites and equipment to identify potential hazards and implement corrective measures
• Managing site logistics, including waste removal, material handling and equipment placement
• Communicating regularly with project managers and clients
• Training and mentoring crew members to develop skills and ensure consistent performance standards
• Maintaining accurate site records, including timesheets, incident reports and progress documentation
• Operating and maintaining demolition equipment as required

What we're looking for

• Current White Card (WHS Induction Card) or equivalent qualification
• 2 years in a supervisory or leading hand capacity
• Strong knowledge of demolition techniques, equipment and safety regulations specific to the construction industry
• Demonstrated experience managing teams and resolving workplace issues effectively
• Current Driver's Licence (Class C or equivalent)
