Role Description

The Demolition Laborer is a full-time, on-site role based in Denham Court, NSW. Day-to-day tasks include assisting with structural and non-structural demolition, interior stripouts, and safe handling, sorting, and removal of debris and rubbish from job sites. The role involves operating basic hand and power tools, loading and unloading materials, and maintaining clean and organized work areas. The Demolition Laborer follows all safety procedures, uses personal protective equipment, and supports supervisors and trades by completing manual labor tasks as directed. This position may require working in confined spaces, at heights, and in varied weather conditions, with occasional overtime depending on project needs.

Qualifications

• Demolition, construction, or general labor experience, with the ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting, carrying, and repetitive movements.
• Basic skills in using hand tools and power tools, and a willingness to learn demolition and stripout techniques safely and correctly.
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety, including consistent use of PPE and adherence to site rules and regulations.
• Reliable work ethic, punctuality, and the ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment.
• Good communication skills and a respectful, cooperative approach to working with supervisors, coworkers, and clients.
• Valid work rights in Australia; White Card (Construction Induction) and reliable transport to Denham Court, NSW are highly desirable.
• Experience in waste handling, rubbish removal, or construction cleanup is an advantage.
• Ability to adapt to changing tasks and site conditions while maintaining quality and safety standards.
