Job summary

Novotel Brisbane Airport is seeking a full-time Demi Chef to join our Catalina Restaurant team at the Brisbane Airport precinct. You will contribute to delivering high-quality meals and friendly, professional service in a busy kitchen.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of kitchen experience, a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent), and a strong commitment to workplace health and safety. Flexible 7-day roster, including weekends and dinner service, with opportunities for career

The Brisbane Airport Hotels Group encompasses the Pullman, Novotel and ibis Brisbane Airport Hotels, as well as the Brisbane Airport Conference Centre. With 532 guest rooms, 3 restaurants, Rooftop Event Space, Executive Lounge, and 17 meeting spaces. Located at the Brisbane Airport precinct.

We have an exciting opportunity available to join our dynamic team at Novotel Brisbane Airport. Catalina Restaurant is vibrant and inviting restaurant with a warm atmosphere and quality food. Our focus and objective are to provide an excellent dining experience for all our guests.

About the role

Strong technical knowledge with experience in a variety of cooking techniques and styles

Understanding of workplace health and safety principles

Own transportation is required

Minimum 2–3 years of commercial kitchen experience

Certificate III or higher in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
