Job description

The Demand Planning Manager owns the Demand and Market pillars of the divisional SIOP process. The role is accountable for developing an accurate, unbiased, and data-driven demand plan across all go-to-market regions, ensuring alignment with commercial strategy and financial objectives.

This position governs the demand forecasting process, demand analytics, CRM discipline, and performance management. It ensures optimal visibility of demand signals, risks, and opportunities while driving accountability across regional planning and commercial teams. The role acts as the integrator between Demand Planning, Commercial (Go-to-Market), Finance, Marketing, and Supply Planning to deliver a single aligned demand plan that underpins the division's operating rhythm.

Want to know a little more about the role? Day-to-day responsibilities include:
  • Lead the Demand Review phase of the SIOP cycle, establishing governance, standards, and a consistent planning cadence across all regions
  • Develop and manage a single, consensus unconstrained demand plan by consolidating regional forecasts and market inputs
  • Provide leadership and oversight to regional demand planners, driving forecasting discipline, capability uplift, and alignment
  • Deliver advanced demand forecasting, analytics, and scenario modelling to identify risks, opportunities, and market trends
  • Integrate new product introductions, lifecycle changes, and segmentation strategies into demand plans
  • Own demand performance management, including forecast accuracy, bias, service metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Partner with Supply Planning to align demand signals with inventory strategies and optimise service, stock levels, and working capital
  • Govern CRM systems and sales pipeline processes, ensuring data integrity, visibility, and integration into demand planning
  • Align demand plans with financial forecasts, translating insights into revenue, margin, and growth implications
  • Act as the commercial voice within SIOP, enabling cross-functional alignment between sales, operations, and finance
A few other things we're looking for:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Economics or related field (MBA and APICS CPIM/CSCP preferred)
  • 7-12 years' experience in demand planning, commercial planning, or SIOP/S&OP environments, with exposure to multi-region operations
  • Proven track record managing end-to-end demand planning processes and influencing senior commercial stakeholders in a matrixed organisation
  • Strong expertise in forecasting methodologies, demand analytics, and market modelling, with advanced analytical, statistical, and financial capability
  • Commercially astute with solid financial acumen and the ability to translate market signals into actionable demand plans
  • Highly effective stakeholder influencer, driving alignment across sales, marketing, operations, and finance
  • Data-driven mindset with strong focus on accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement within a SIOP framework
  • Ability to balance growth ambitions with operational and supply constraints
  • Advanced systems capability across ERP/MRP and planning tools, including CRM systems (Salesforce, MS Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, PipeDrive), BI tools (Power BI, QlikView), and advanced planning platforms (Logility, Anaplan, Kinaxis, Demand Solutions)
In return, you will receive:
  • Opportunity to work as part of a truly global organisation, collaborating with teams across multiple regions and value streams
  • Play a key role in shaping and maturing our demand planning capability during a significant period of transformation
  • High visibility role with exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to influence strategic decision-making
  • Work in a collaborative, cross-functional environment that partners closely with commercial, operations, and finance teams
  • Competitive remuneration package aligned to experience and impact
  • Access to our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for you and your immediate family
