Job summary

Andi-Co Australia is seeking an experienced Demand Planner/Inventory Controller to own forecasting and inventory control across the business, aligning stock with sales trends and market intelligence. You will work with Sales, Marketing, Finance and 3PL partners to forecast demand and keep the right stock in the right place.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years in demand planning, experience in premium retail/wholesale, and hands-on AI scenario modelling.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a demand planning or forecasting role.
• Experience in premium retail and/or wholesale and distribution industries.
• Hands-on experience using AI scenario modelling for demand planning.
• Demonstrated proficiency in statistics and forecasting methods.
• Strong understanding of financial and operational impacts, with sound quantitative and qualitative skills.
• Experienced and confident decision maker.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Tertiary qualification in Logistics, Purchasing, Statistics or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and continuously improve statistical rolling demand forecasts, leading the end-to-end forecasting process.
• Analyse sales trends, demand drivers and market intelligence, working with Sales, Marketing and Finance to build an accurate consensus forecast.
• Reconcile demand planning analysis against AI scenario modelling each month and present the findings to management.
• Maintain dashboards on demand planning and inventory position for management and end-of-month reporting.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, oversee stocktakes and cycle counts, and resolve discrepancies at the root cause.
• Manage stock transfers between warehouses and partner with our 3PL providers to resolve inventory issues efficiently.
• Partner with the Product team on end-of-life and product lifecycle planning to manage inventory effectively.
• Manage purchasing with local suppliers — raising orders, coordinating communications and monitoring lead times to keep deliveries on track.

Providing Australia with Falcon and AGA range cookers from the UK, custom-made La Cornue range cookers from France, Novy induction cooktops from Belgium and Liebherr refrigeration (residential and professional) from Germany, we provide top of the range appliances and service to our customers. To support our strategic growth, we are currently seeking an experienced Demand Planner/Inventory Controller to join our passionate and dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity, and one that will play a key role in keeping our business running efficiently.

About the Role:

As our Demand Planner/Inventory Controller, you'll own demand forecasting and inventory control across the business. That means building and refining statistical rolling forecasts, managing purchasing and stock levels with our local suppliers, and keeping inventory accurate across our warehouses. You'll work closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance and our 3PL partners — turning sales trends and market intelligence into forecasts that keep the right stock in the right place, at the right time.

This is a role for someone who's equally comfortable presenting a demand forecast to the leadership team and getting into the detail of a stock discrepancy on the warehouse floor.

What we’re Looking For:
