Job summary

Sharp and Carter, a family-owned manufacturing business in Sydney, is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Planner to own forecasting and S&OP across product categories. The role focuses on demand and supply planning, supplier relationships, and inventory performance in a global network.

You'll report to the manufacturing team, mentor junior planners (no direct reports), and leverage Excel and Power BI to monitor performance and drive AI-assisted planning improvements, with hybrid work in South West

Qualifications

• Experience across both supply and demand planning.
• Strong analytical ability with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Intermediate Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups and large data sets.
• Great communication skills with the ability to influence cross functionally.

Responsibilities

• Own forecasting across assigned categories and lead the S&OP process for a forward-looking demand view.
• Communicate with suppliers and factories on product/material requirements; place orders and manage partners.
• Support NPD projects with the product team.
• Drive DIFOT and inventory performance; reduce SLOB.
• Support planning locally and globally as the international network expands.
• Report on performance using Excel, Power BI and other tools, with appetite for AI-driven planning and automation.
• Mentor junior planners (no direct reports).
