Job summary

LG Electronics is seeking a Demand Planner to join our Business Operations Planning team in Australia. You will coordinate all aspects of supply and demand planning, with a focus on S&OP, forecasting processes, reporting, and systems development.

The role reports to the Demand Planning Manager and involves collaboration with Product Sales and Supply teams. You will translate complex data into actionable insights, work with ERP/Supply tools, and manage the weekly demand forecast to support supply

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Operations, Logistics or Business.
• 3+ years experience in a supply planning position.
• Experience with Supply Chain, Sales and Marketing.
• Advanced Excel/Word skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage weekly and monthly processes of all areas involved in the S&OP to enable accurate analysis of key drivers.
• Translate complex data into actionable insights for decision-making.
• Work with ERP/Supply tools to develop and impart data, information and reporting capabilities.
• Own the Demand Forecast weekly feeding into the Supply Planning process.
• Manage forecast based on the weekly S&OP exception process.

We're looking for a passionate Demand Planner to join our Business Operations Planning team reporting to Demand Planning Manager.

You will co-ordinate and manage all areas of supply/demand planning, particularly with regard to S&OP (sales and operations planning), forecasting processes, reporting and systems/procedures development.

The successful candidate will engage with key stakeholders across our Product Sales and Supply teams.

What You'll Do

• Manage weekly and monthly processes of all areas involved in the S&OP to enable them to provide more accurate, robust analysis of the key drivers within the business.
• Translate complex data into actionable insights to support decision-making.
• Work with the business ERP / Supply tools to help develop and impart value adding data, information and reporting capabilities.
• Action the Demand Forecast which weekly feeds into the Supply Planning process.
• Manage the forecast based on the weekly S&OP Exception process.
• Ensure the documentation of systems/procedures associated with this role are reviewed and amended as necessary.

• 3 years minimum experience in a supply planning position

• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (inc. Excel and Word)
