Job summary

Profectus is seeking an experienced Delivery Manager/Scrum Master to lead agile delivery of a secure web application within an Australian Government agency. The role focuses on sustainment and feature enhancement, data migration, security uplift, and government staff knowledge transfer in a classified environment.

You will coordinate with government stakeholders, manage cross-functional teams of government staff and contractors, and drive DevSecOps practices while ensuring compliance activities

Qualifications

• Lead agile software delivery across multiple workstreams in a Defence/Gov ICT context.
• Experience delivering ICT in Defence or Australian Govt agencies in classified environments.
• Certified Agile (PSM/CSM/SAFe) and DevSecOps adoption.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews and retrospectives

• Coordinate input to security compliance, assurance and accreditation activities
• Ensure technical documentation is developed and maintained

Job description

Profectus is seeking an experienced Delivery Manager / Scrum Master to lead agile delivery of a secure web application within an Australian Government agency. The application is built on Angular, operates in a classified environment and aggregates data from multiple authoritative sources to support decision making. The work covers application sustainment and feature enhancement, data migration and integration, cyber security uplift and knowledge transfer to government staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead agile delivery across three workstreams: application sustainment and feature enhancement, data migration and integration, and cyber security uplift
• Plan, prioritise and track work with government product owners and stakeholders
• Facilitate sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews and retrospectives
• Lead an integrated team of government staff and contracted personnel
• Manage dependencies between application development, data migration and security remediation work
• Identify, manage and report delivery risks, issues and progress
• Support DevSecOps implementation and maturity uplift across the team
• Coordinate the team’s input to security compliance, assurance and accreditation activities
• Ensure technical documentation is developed and maintained
• Support knowledge transfer to government staff

Required Experience

• Experience as a Delivery Manager or Scrum Master leading agile software delivery teams
• Experience managing concurrent workstreams covering development, data migration and security
• Experience supporting the adoption of DevSecOps practices
• Experience reporting progress, risks and issues to senior stakeholders
• Experience leading integrated teams of government staff and contractors
• Experience delivering ICT work within Defence or another Australian Government agency
• Experience delivering within the Defence Secret environment or other classified environments
• Experience with data migration onto enterprise data platforms, including the Defence One Defence Data platform
• Experience supporting security accreditation of applications
• Agile certification such as PSM, CSM or SAFe
• Experience with agile tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps

Security Clearance Requirements

• Must be an Australian Citizen
• Must have a current AGSVA NV1 Security Clearance (minimum)
