Job summary

Profectus is seeking multiple experienced Full Stack Developers to sustain and enhance a secure web application for an Australian Government agency. The role focuses on Angular development, API integration, and security remediation within a Defence environment.

You will work in a secure, agile setting, collaborating across teams to deliver features, perform data migrations to the enterprise data platform, and support accreditation activities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with Angular and TypeScript in enterprise apps.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs and back-end services.
• Experience applying secure coding practices and remediating vulnerabilities.
• Experience in agile delivery teams and DevSecOps pipelines.
• Experience with SBOM tools (CycloneDX/SPDX) and data migration.
• Knowledge of the Information Security Manual (ISM) and Defence environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an Angular-based enterprise web application.
• Deliver integration, remediation and feature development work.
• Build and deliver new features for the platform.

The application is built on Angular and aggregates data from multiple authoritative sources to support decision making. The work covers application maintenance, feature development, security remediation and integration with an enterprise data platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an Angular-based enterprise web application
• Deliver application integration, remediation and enhancement work
• Build and deliver new features
• Support integration with, and data migration to, an enterprise data platform
• Remediate Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) findings and identified vulnerabilities
• Apply secure software development practices
• Work within DevSecOps pipelines and contribute to test automation
• Support security compliance and accreditation activities
• Develop and maintain technical documentation
• Support knowledge transfer to government staff

Required Experience

• Strong experience with Angular and TypeScript
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs and working with back-end services and databases
• Experience applying secure coding practices and remediating vulnerabilities
• Experience working in agile delivery teams
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
• Experience working on applications for Defence or another Australian Government agency
• Experience developing within the Defence Secret environment or other classified environments
• Experience with SBOM tools and standards such as CycloneDX or SPDX
• Experience with data migration to enterprise data platforms, including the Defence One Defence Data platform
• Knowledge of the Information Security Manual (ISM)

Security Clearance Requirements

• Must be an Australian Citizen
• Must have a current AGSVA NV1 Security Clearance (minimum)
