Job summary

Onset in Sydney is seeking a Delivery Manager to partner with the CTO and shape a structured, visible delivery across its Technology portfolio. You will translate loosely defined problems into executable plans while collaborating with Engineering and business teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technology delivery experience.

Delivery Manager – Technology Sydney | Fintech | Hands-on Delivery

We're partnering with an Australian fintech looking for a Delivery Manager to work closely with the CTO and bring greater structure, visibility and momentum across its Technology portfolio.

This isn't a traditional PMO role. You'll operate across Engineering and the broader business, taking sometimes loosely defined problems and turning them into clear, executable plans.

The role

You'll be responsible for:

• Driving multiple technology initiatives from requirements through to production
• Coordinating Engineering and stakeholders across Product, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Sales and Marketing
• Creating clear plans, milestones, dependencies and delivery visibility
• Identifying risks and resolving blockers before they impact delivery
• Supporting quarterly Technology planning and prioritisation
• Improving delivery practices and ways of working without adding unnecessary process
• Using Jira and Confluence to maintain visibility and accountability

What we’re looking for

• 5+ years’ experience in Technology Delivery, Project or Program Delivery
• Strong end-to-end technology delivery experience
• Enough technical understanding to work confidently with Engineering
• Experience managing multiple initiatives and competing priorities
• Strong stakeholder management across technical and business teams
• The ability to work through ambiguity and create structure where it doesn't already exist
• A pragmatic approach to Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery

Experience across fintech, lending, banking, payments or financial services is a must. Salesforce exposure would also be valuable.
