Job summary

Aware Super is seeking a delivery professional to lead regulatory change initiatives across the organisation. The role involves planning, mobilisation and full delivery, coordinating business, technology, product and vendor teams to achieve strong outcomes for members.

This hands-on position requires deep delivery experience in a superannuation or financial services context, with hybrid working arrangements across Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience delivering regulatory change, ideally in superannuation.
  • Experience translating legislative changes into business and system impacts.
  • Delivery management across planning, governance, dependencies and benefits realization.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in regulated environments.
  • Experience working with third-party vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Lead initiatives from mobilisation through to implementation and closure with clear outcomes.
  • Develop integrated delivery plans covering schedule, resources, costs, dependencies, risks, readiness and benefits.
  • Coordinate delivery across business, technology, product, change and vendor teams.
  • Manage changes through governance, communicating impacts, trade-offs and recommendations.
  • Ensure solutions are transitioned into operations and realise the intended value for members and business.
  • Provide forecasts, resource needs, financial information and risk insights to planning.
  • Oversee third-party vendor performance and delivery outcomes.

Your New Role

You’ll lead the planning, mobilisation and delivery of initiatives driven by legislative change and system updates, bringing together business, technology and third-party partners to deliver strong outcomes for our members and the organisation.This is a hands-on opportunity suited to an experienced delivery professional who understands the complexities of delivering regulatory change within the superannuation or broader financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead assigned initiatives from mobilisation through to implementation and closure, establishing clear outcomes, scope, deliverables, accountabilities and measures of success.
  • Develop and maintain integrated delivery plans covering schedule, resources, costs, dependencies, risks, implementation readiness and benefits.
  • Direct and coordinate delivery across business, technology, product, change and vendor teams, maintaining alignment to approved outcomes and priorities.
  • Manage changes through appropriate governance, clearly communicating impacts, trade-offs and recommendations.
  • Ensure solutions are implemented effectively, transitioned into operations and positioned to realise the intended member and business value.
  • Contribute accurate delivery forecasts, resource requirements, financial information and risk insights to divisional, portfolio and enterprise planning.
  • Oversee third-party vendor performance, ensuring commitments, milestones, quality expectations and delivery outcomes are achieved.
How do you exceed our expectations?
  • 5+ years’ relevant experience delivering regulatory change, ideally within superannuation.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering regulatory change, with a strong understanding of how legislative changes translate into business and system impacts.
  • Strong delivery management capability across planning, governance, dependency management, financial management, implementation and benefits realisation.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities, navigate ambiguity and balance scope, schedule, cost, quality and risk to achieve delivery outcomes.
  • Strong commercial, risk and governance acumen, including experience operating within regulated environments and established control frameworks.
  • Experience leveraging data, insights and contemporary delivery practices to support informed decision-making, continuous improvement and delivery confidence.
  • Proven experience working with and managing third-party vendors.
