Job summary

Aware Super invites a strategic Senior Manager, Advice Applications, to lead the evolution of our advice technology ecosystem across CRM, AdviceOS and adviser portals. You will partner with Advice, Technology and vendor networks to deliver outcomes for advisers and members alike.

You will oversee governance, UAT, risk management and drive adoption initiatives to improve adviser capability and member experience, balancing BAU with large-scale initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience leading design, delivery or optimisation of financial planning and advice applications.
• Strong understanding of advice processes and supporting technology.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement, governance and strategic roadmap of core advice applications (CRM, AdviceOS, adviser portals).
• Drive prioritisation of enhancements, defects and future development balancing business value, risk and investment.
• Partner with Technology Services and external vendors to translate business requirements into scalable solutions.

Your New Role

We're seeking a strategic and operational leader to drive the evolution of Aware Super's advice technology ecosystem. As Senior Manager, Advice Applications, you'll lead the ongoing development, enhancement and adoption of the applications that underpin our advice experience, partnering across Advice, Technology and vendor networks to deliver better outcomes for advisers and members alike.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead the continuous improvement, governance and strategic roadmap of Aware Super's core advice applications, including CRM, AdviceOS and adviser portals.


• Drive the prioritisation of enhancements, defect management and future development initiatives, balancing business value, risk and investment.


• Partner with Technology Services and external vendors to translate business requirements into scalable application solutions.


• Oversee application change governance, user acceptance testing and risk management frameworks to ensure reliable and compliant delivery.


• Lead the design and delivery of training, support and adoption initiatives that improve adviser capability, efficiency and member experience

• Experience leading the design, delivery or optimisation of financial planning and advice applications.


• Strong understanding of advice processes, financial planning practices and the technology that supports them.


• Proven leadership experience, with the ability to guide teams, influence stakeholders and drive strategic outcomes.


• Familiarity with Midwinter, Sonata, Bravura or similar systems is advantageous but not essential


• Demonstrated project and change management capability, balancing BAU priorities with large-scale initiatives.


• Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Economics or a related field, coupled with strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.


• You are balanced in accepting risk in any decision you face. You are curious to understand risk context and choose to speak up as we simplify, learn and grow.
