Job summary

Aware Super is seeking an experienced delivery professional to lead planning, mobilisation and delivery of regulatory change initiatives across business, technology and partners. This hands-on role suits someone who understands financial services regulation and can drive outcomes for members and the organisation.

The role offers hybrid working arrangements with permanent tenure, and a focus on strong governance, planning and benefits realisation.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years' experience delivering regulatory change, preferably within superannuation or financial services.
  • Strong delivery management capability across planning, governance and benefits realisation.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and navigate ambiguity in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead initiatives from mobilisation through to implementation and closure.
  • Develop integrated delivery plans covering schedule, resources, costs, dependencies, risks and benefits.
  • Direct cross-functional delivery across business, technology, product, change and vendors.
  • Manage changes through governance, clearly communicating impacts and recommendations.
  • Ensure solutions are transitioned into operations to realise member and business value.
  • Contribute delivery forecasts, resource needs, financial information and risk insights.
  • Oversee third-party vendor performance and delivery outcomes.

Your New Role

You'll lead the planning, mobilisation and delivery of initiatives driven by legislative change and system updates, bringing together business, technology and third-party partners to deliver strong outcomes for our members and the organisation. This is a hands-on opportunity suited to an experienced delivery professional who understands the complexities of delivering regulatory change within the superannuation or broader financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead assigned initiatives from mobilisation through to implementation and closure, establishing clear outcomes, scope, deliverables, accountabilities and measures of success.
  • Develop and maintain integrated delivery plans covering schedule, resources, costs, dependencies, risks, implementation readiness and benefits.
  • Direct and coordinate delivery across business, technology, product, change and vendor teams, maintaining alignment to approved outcomes and priorities.
  • Manage changes through appropriate governance, clearly communicating impacts, trade-offs and recommendations.
  • Ensure solutions are implemented effectively, transitioned into operations and positioned to realise the intended member and business value.
  • Contribute accurate delivery forecasts, resource requirements, financial information and risk insights to divisional, portfolio and enterprise planning.
  • Oversee third-party vendor performance, ensuring commitments, milestones, quality expectations and delivery outcomes are achieved.
How do you exceed our expectations
  • 5+ years' relevant experience delivering regulatory change, ideally within superannuation.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering regulatory change, with a strong understanding of how legislative changes translate into business and system impacts.
  • Strong delivery management capability across planning, governance, dependency management, financial management, implementation and benefits realisation.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities, navigate ambiguity and balance scope, schedule, cost, quality and risk to achieve delivery outcomes.
  • Strong commercial, risk and governance acumen, including experience operating within regulated environments and established control frameworks.
  • Experience leveraging data, insights and contemporary delivery practices to support informed decision-making, continuous improvement and delivery confidence.
  • Proven experience working with and managing third-party vendors.
