Job summary

Suncorp is seeking an experienced Delivery Manager to lead the Home Claims Customers delivery portfolio within Consumer Insurance. You will shape scope, prioritise initiatives and drive end-to-end delivery with governance and value realisation.

You will manage a team of Delivery Leads, coordinate with sponsors and Tribe Product Owners, and embed benefits realisation while ensuring safe, compliant execution. Hybrid work and a range of wellbeing and development perks are offered.

Qualifications

• Eight years’ experience in financial services, insurance, claims, customer operations, or another regulated environment.
• Experience leading delivery, transformation, governance or operational performance portfolios within a large, regulated organisation.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders, manage trade-offs and deliver measurable customer, operational, risk and commercial outcomes.
• Experience leading delivery teams, specialist resources or enterprise initiatives in complex, customer-facing environments.
• Demonstrated governance discipline with the ability to prioritise work, manage risk and improve delivery confidence.
• Experience embedding innovation, continuous improvement and performance discipline across cross-functional teams (onshore, offshore and partners).
• Desirable tertiary qualification in business, project or program management, transformation, technology or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Home Claims Customers delivery performance agenda, ensuring initiatives achieve customer, risk, operational and commercial outcomes.
• Shape initiative scope and value as Product Owner, testing assumptions and confirming delivery readiness.
• Drive end-to-end delivery across planning, implementation, readiness, benefits realisation and handover.
• Own portfolio health, risks, issues and dependencies with early insights for senior decisions.
• Identify and scale innovative delivery practices, digital opportunities and process improvements.
• Lead and coach a high-performing team of Delivery Leads for accountable outcomes.
• Influence stakeholders to align priorities and accelerate customer and business outcomes.
• Oversee action plans and audits with governance and evidence-based closure.
• Connect teams to purpose with a clear line of sight to customer outcomes and value.
• Lead complex, cross-functional decisions balancing innovation, risk and performance.
• Use metrics and feedback to learn, adapt and communicate performance impacts.
• Challenge existing ways of working and scale digital, data and process improvements.
• Build enterprise relationships and influence in executive forums.
• Foster an inclusive, high-performance environment with coaching and accountability.
