Ministry of Justice in Wellington is seeking a Delivery Lead for the Te Au Reka Programme. You will guide one or more agile squads, ensuring focus and delivery of high-quality outcomes while collaborating with vendor partners, analysts, product teams, and programme leaders.

This fixed-term, full-time role sits in Wellington CBD and offers the chance to shape a major digital transformation across NZ courts and tribunals, driving continuous improvement and strong governance interactions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' experience in delivery, project, programme, or agile leadership roles.
• Experience leading or coaching cross-functional agile teams in complex ICT or digital transformation environments.
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and frameworks.
• Agile certification such as Scrum Master, SAFe, PMI-ACP, or equivalent.
• Proven ability to identify and manage risks, dependencies, and impediments.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
• Strong facilitation, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience working within large-scale transformation programmes.
• Understanding of public sector governance, accountability, and decision-making frameworks is advantageous.
