Job summary

FinXL IT is seeking a hands-on Senior Delivery Lead to join the delivery team. You will take direct delivery accountability for one or more cross-functional squads, translating program roadmaps into tangible tech deliveries.

You will drive agile ceremonies, governance, and ensure Jira & Confluence are used for clean sprints, epic mapping, and traceability, with transparent dashboards for program leadership. Hybrid Australia-wide role with 2-3 office days.

Qualifications

• Proven delivery lead experience within large enterprise projects, ideally wealth management or advisory.
• Hands-on delivery professional who coordinates day-to-day tasks without relying on PMO support.
• Strong scrum master experience to anchor and run dual-squad agile cadences.
• Expert proficiency in Jira and Confluence for epics, sprints and traceability.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation and stakeholder alignment skills.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Squad Execution: own end-to-end delivery for multiple technical squads from concept to production.
• Agile & Scrum Operations: facilitate ceremonies and drive sprint planning and forecasting.
• Jira & Confluence Tooling Hygiene: maintain Jira boards, Confluence docs, user story mapping and dependencies.
• Risk & Dependency Management: identify bottlenecks and implement proactive mitigation.
• Governance & Progress Dashboards: provide status reports and live dashboards to leadership.

The Opportunity

FinXL IT is partnering with a leading wealth management organisation to support multiple high-visibility initiatives across the Wealth Central Uplift, Advice, and CRM portfolios within the program.

We are seeking a hands-on Senior Delivery Lead to join the FinXL delivery team. In this execution-focused role, you will take direct delivery accountability for one or more cross-functional squads, navigating a complex, multi-stream environment to keep execution velocity high and translate program roadmaps into tangible tech deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Squad Execution: Take full ownership of the end-to-end delivery lifecycle for multiple technical squads, driving tasks from concept through to production deployment and benefit realisation.
• Agile & Scrum Operations: Facilitate core agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives) while driving forward sprint planning and capacity forecasting.
• Jira & Confluence Tooling Hygiene: Act as the direct, hands-on custodian for all Jira board tracking, Confluence documentation, user story mapping, and dependency visualisation.
• Risk & Dependency Management: Proactively identify delivery bottlenecks, track continuous technical or operational dependencies, and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
• Governance & Progress Dashboards: Maintain structured project governance frameworks and deliver transparent status reports, metrics, and live dashboards to program leadership.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Delivery Lead successfully steering complex technology, systems integration, or digital transformation projects within large enterprise environments, ideally in wealth management or advisory.
• A hands-on delivery professional who actively dives into day-to-day coordination and task tracking without relying on a separate PMO support unit.
• Strong practical scrum master experience to confidently anchor and run dual-squad agile cadences.
• Advanced, expert-level proficiency in Jira and Confluence tools to build out clean sprints, map epics, and establish full traceability.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication, negotiation, and soft skills with the natural drive to influence and align disparate business and technical stakeholders.
