Job summary

Barware.com.au in Melbourne's southeast is seeking a Delivery Driver who also works as a Store Person / Order Picker when not on the road. You will deliver orders to local customers from our Dandenong South facility and support picking, packing, and stock with accuracy.

Ideal candidates will have a valid driver's license (and forklift license) and experience in a fast-paced warehouse. You must be physically fit, reliable, and able to work as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Driver's License required.
• Forklift license preferred or required.
• Able to lift heavy items and handle manual handling tasks.
• Previous delivery van and warehouse experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Picking and packing stock for dispatch.
• Delivering Melbourne orders to local customers (Melbourne Metro).
• Restocking stock picking areas and maintaining cleanliness.
• Completing and maintaining paperwork as required.
• General warehouse duties as directed by the Warehouse Manager.

Job description

We are seeking a highly energetic, hardworking, and self-motivated Delivery Driver that also doubles as a Store Person / Order Picker when not driving for our Dandenong South based Business. We are looking for a Delivery Van Driver to deliver our Melbourne orders to our local customers.

Previous experience driving a delivery van would be an advantage. As would previous warehouse experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the key duties & responsibilities are:

• Picking and packing stock for dispatch
• Completing and maintaining paperwork
• Restocking stock picking areas
• Maintaining cleanliness of work and stock areas
• General warehouse duties as directed
• Delivery drivinga Van within Melbourne Metro and suburbs

To be successful for this role you MUST possess the following:

• A team player with a positive can-do attitude.
• Abide by all OH&S rules.
• A current and valid Drivers License and Forklift License
• Clear communicator with ability to work with customers.
• Be physically fit – manual handling & occasional heavy lifting.
• Must live and ability to work in Australia.
