Job summary

Penske Australia & New Zealand in Sydney's Chipping Norton is hiring a permanent Delivery Driver / Storeperson. You will complete local parts delivery routes, unpack inbound freight, pick and pack, and handle dispatch while keeping a safe, clean, and customer-focused operation.

You should hold an LF ticket and a clean licence, enjoy hands-on work, and work well in a team. Experience with Excel and freight platforms is valued, and we offer onsite parking, training, and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• LF licence and a clean driver’s licence required.
• Hands-on work with a passion for automotive environment preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team to complete tasks.

Job description

We currently have a permanent, full time position available for a Delivery Driver / Storeperson in our Chipping Norton branch. You'll complete parts delivery routes as well as dealing with inbound and dispatch, all while working safely within a fun, friendly team environment. This role is fantastic for anyone who enjoys working within a stores environment, whilst till maintaining customer focus as they deliver parts to local customers.

About The Job

• Doing local deliveries of parts and components to local businesses and customers.
• Unpack and put away of inbound freight.
• Picking and packing.
• Dispatch.
• Maintaining a safe, clean and tidy workplace and vehicle.

About You

• Have your LF ticket and a clean driver's licence.
• Enjoy hands on work - a passion for automotive would be awesome too.
• Strong attention to detail, with the drive to work in a team and get the job done.
• Enthusiastic and motivated - comfortable providing top notch customer service.
• Passionate about safety, and maintaining a clean, tidy workplace.
• You've had experience in cyclic counts and stock takes.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel and freight management platforms to support dispatch, deliveries and warehouse operations highly regarded.
