Job summary

Metcash Trading Limited is seeking a dependable Delivery Driver / Storeperson to join the Ingleburn team. The role runs Monday to Friday from 5:00am to 3:00pm, combining warehouse operations with van deliveries of meat products across the Sydney metro area.

You will pick and pack orders, prepare invoices, and ensure safe loading and unloading while maintaining accurate records and a high level of customer service.

Qualifications

• Hold a current Australian driver’s licence.
• Reliable and punctual with the ability to start early mornings.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in delivery and warehousing tasks.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver meat products to customers across the Sydney metro area using a company van.
• Pick and pack customer orders accurately.
• Print and prepare delivery labels and invoices.
• Load and unload delivery items safely.
• Perform manual handling duties with lifting between 5kg to 15kg.
• Ensure timely, accurate, and professional customer deliveries.
• Maintain a clean, organised warehouse and delivery vehicle.

About the Opportunity

Our Meat business is seeking a dependable Delivery Driver / Storeperson to join our Ingleburn team on a full-time permanent basis, working Monday to Friday from 5:00am to 3:00pm. This role comines warehouse operations with van deliveries of meat prouducts to customers across Sydney

In this Role

• Deliver meat products to customers across the Sydney metro area using a company van
• Pick and pack customer orders accurately
• Print and prepare delivery labels and invoices
• Load and unload delivery items safely
• Perform manual handling duties with lifting between 5kg to a maximum of 15kg during picking, packing, and deliveries
• Ensure timely, accurate, and professional customer deliveries
• Maintain a clean, organised warehouse and delivery vehicle

What are we looking for?

• Hold a current Australian driver’s licence
• Forklift licence is an advantage (but not essential)
• Previous experience in delivery driving, warehousing, or storeperson roles preferred
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to start early mornings
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
