Growers Market in Port Macquarie is seeking a reliable Delivery Driver / Retail Assistant to join our busy fresh produce team. This hands-on role combines delivery driving, retail operations, order preparation and general produce handling to ensure customer orders are picked, packed and delivered accurately and on time.

The successful applicant will be physically fit, have a valid Class C licence, and demonstrate strong time management and customer service skills as you support both the front

Qualifications

• Valid Australian Class C driver's licence with a clean record.
• Experience in delivery driving, warehousing or logistics preferred.
• Ability to work weekends on a 7-day rotating roster.

What You'll Be Doing

• Deliver fresh produce orders to customers throughout the Port Macquarie and surrounding areas

• Load and unload delivery vehicles safely and efficiently

• Pick and pack customer orders accurately

• Assist with retal front and produce displays

• Assist with organising and maintaining the warehouse

• Rotate and store fresh produce correctly in our retail area

• Ensure orders are prepared and ready for delivery on time

• Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the store and delivery vehicle

• Provide friendly and professional customer service during deliveries

• Liaise with the warehouse and retail teams to coordinate orders and deliveries

• Assist with stock handling and general warehouse duties as required

• Maintain accurate delivery and order records

• Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times

• Assist with other general duties across the business when required

What We're Looking For

• A valid Australian Class C driver's licence with a clean driving record

• Previous experience in delivery driving, warehousing, logistics or a similar role is preferred

• Strong time management and organisational skills

• Good communication and customer service skills

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

• A reliable, punctual and positive attitude

• Physically fit and comfortable with regular manual handling

• Ability to safely lift and manoeuvre goods up to 30kg

• Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment

• Good attention to detail when picking and checking orders

• A flexible approach to work and willingness to assist wherever needed

• Weekend work is required as part of a 7-day rotating roster
