Job summary

SSM Distributors Pty Ltd is seeking a delivery driver to pick up daily deliveries, load the truck, and deliver to customers in a professional manner across the Port Macquarie area. This part-time role offers a regular 3 days per week schedule (~28.5 hours) with potential to increase as you settle into the run.

Eligible applicants should hold a current MR driving licence, a clean driving record, and demonstrate strong time management and customer service skills for consistent, on-time delivery

• Unloading stock and placing products in customer storage areas.

Job description

Each morning you will pick your deliveries, load them onto your truck and deliver to our variety of customers in a safe, professional and efficient way. This role would suit someone who enjoys working independently on the road, likes the consistency of a regular routine while still having some variety throughout the day, and takes pride in providing great service to our customers. We are offering the successful applicant a regular 3 day per week, averaging 28.5 hours per week of ongoing permanent part-time hours. As you become familiar with the run and complete your training, there is potential for your hours to increase.

Key responsibilities

• Unloading stock and place products in the customers designated storage area
• Providing reliable, professional service and building strong relationships with our customers
• Take pride in keeping the vehicle clean, tidy and well maintained
• Helping with stock and general warehouse duties as needed
