You will review load sheets, secure loads, deliver to customers, and maintain logs while working autonomously as part of a logistics team. Heavy Rigid licence required; forklift and crane experience desirable; strong customer service and physical fitness are essential.

• Essential: Heavy Rigid License and driving experience (HR)
• Desirable: Valid Forklift License
• Desirable: Experience operating a truck mounted crane
• Willingness to work metro and country runs
• Strength and fitness to undertake a frequent movement and lifting role
• Effective problem solver who can develop solutions that meet customers’ needs
• Strong customer service and verbal communication skills
• Enjoys working autonomously
• Willingness to enhance the customer experience by working with enthusiasm, energy and pace

Your responsibilities will include:

• Review vehicle load sheets, plan the load and placement onto delivery truck
• Secure load, prepare manifest and assist loading when required
• Deliver to customers and place onsite as required
• Maintain vehicle and driver log
• Liaise with Despatch team and customers on delivery issues and delays
• Keep a clean truck at all times and ensure maintenance is up to date
• Collaborate with team members, other business areas and projects as required
• Strict adherence to critical safety rules and contributing to a safe working environment
