Job summary

Sunshine coast chilled freight is seeking a casual driver to operate a small truck/van between Gympie and Ballina, based from home and delivering across the southern Gold Coast, northern rivers, Byron Bay and surrounding areas.

The role involves courier runs with potential expansion to Brisbane and Gold Coast routes for the right person; ideal candidates will be based in Southern Gold Coast or Northern NSW and hold a C licence, with MR licence advantageous in the future.

Qualifications

• Minimum full C licence is required.
• MR licence is advantageous going forward but not required.
• Enjoys driving.
• Flexible and able to adapt to the fluid nature of the courier business.

Responsibilities

• Conduct delivery runs on designated routes, including overflow runs south of Byron up to Lismore and around to Mullumbimby.
• Operate a small truck/van vehicle for deliveries.
• Work directly with the driver/owner and other team members.
• Perform heavy lifting up to 20 kg from time to time.
• Maintain flexibility with scheduling as required by the courier business.

Casual driver for a small chilled foods business operating between Gympie and Ballina. You will operate a small truck/van vehicle, most likely based at home, delivering across the southern Gold Coast, northern rivers, Byron Bay and surrounding areas. The role involves courier runs with potential expansion to Brisbane and Gold Coast routes for the right person.

The ideal Candidate will be based either Southern gold coast or Northern NSW.
