Job summary

Direct Freight Express on the Gold Coast is seeking a reliable Pickup & Delivery Driver (C Class or Light Rigid) to join our growing team. This full-time role involves daily pickups, vehicle checks, and accurate freight documentation, with standard hours Mon-Fri and potential overtime.

You’ll work with a supportive team, enjoy weekly pay and penalty rates for overtime, and benefit from a secure, diverse workplace committed to growth and stability.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid licence and be able to pass a pre-employment medical
• Demerit points: no more than 6 on licence
• Be prepared to provide licence history for last 5 years
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Overtime pay is available
• Stable employment with growing company

The Opportunity:

We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as soon as possible:

Role: Pickup & Delivery Driver (C Class or Light Rigid License)

Location: Gold Coast (Carrara)

Expected Hours of Work: Mon-Fri - 8 hours per day + potential overtime shifts

The position will include duties such as but will not be limited to:

• Daily schedule pickups
• Safely operate and conduct vehicle checks of your assignedvehicle
• Maintain all freight, parcels and documentation.

About you:

• No more than 6 demerit points accumulated on licence
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including D & A test
• Be prepared to provide a current license history report for the previous five years
• Be able to work as part of a team
• Paid overtime (Penalty rates)
