Job summary

Reece Group in Torquay is seeking a hands-on delivery driver to support our Trade Counter team. You will deliver parts and products to customers, assist with stock control, and help keep the branch running smoothly with high-quality customer service.

You’ll need a valid driver’s licence, be comfortable with varied shifts (including weekends), and ideally hold MR or forklift licences. Training and development are available within our network.

Qualifications

• Requires valid driver’s licence and willingness to work varied shifts including weekends.
• MR licence preferred and/or forklift licence beneficial.
• Experience in delivery driving, retail or customer service is valued.
• Ability to pick orders, maintain shop floor displays and ensure information is accurate.
• Technology-lamiliar and able to learn new systems.
• Wants to grow career locally or within our network.

About the role

As part of the Trade Counter team in Torquay, you’ll divide your time between delivering products, providing customer service to plumbers and other tradespeople as well as undertaking other tasks that keep the warehouse and trade counter running smoothly.

A typical day involves:

• Delivering parts and products to customers using a company vehicle
• Undertaking pick packing and stock control activities
• Helping keep the branch and warehouse tidy and safe
• Providing customer service and information about products

We’d love to hear from you if you’re someone who:

• Has a valid driver’s licence and is open to working various shifts, including weekends
• Preferably holds a Medium Rigid (MR) licence, and/or a forklift licence
• Has previous experience in delivery driving, retail or customer service and enjoys helping customers both in person and over the phone
• Can pick orders, maintain shop floor displays and ensure information provided is accurate
• Is tech-savvy and adaptable to learning new systems
• Wants to develop their career - either locally, within our network or head office
