Job summary

Reece Group in Ipswich is seeking a customer-focused delivery associate to join the Trade Counter team at Carole Park. You’ll help engineers, project managers and tradespeople access the products they need and keep the branch running smoothly.

A typical day includes delivering to customers, receipting goods, assisting with stock control and keeping displays tidy. You’ll also provide product information and answer questions by phone or in person.

Qualifications

• Has a clean, valid driver’s licence and preferably a MR licence.
• Experience in delivery driving, inwards goods, retail sales, warehousing or customer service.
• Ability to pick orders, maintain shop displays and ensure information provided is accurate.
• Computer savvy and happy to learn new systems.

About the role

As part of the Trade Counter team in Carole Park, you’ll help engineers, project managers and other tradespeople access the products they need to undertake major projects, as well as undertaking other tasks that keep customers happy and the branch running smoothly.

A typical day involves:

• Make deliveries to customers using a company vehicle
• Inwards good receipting in
• Providing customer service and information about products
• Undertaking pick packing and stock control activities
• Help keep the branch tidy and safe

We’d love to hear from you if you’re someone who:

• Has a clean, valid driver’s licence and preferably a MR license
• Has previous experience in delivery driving, inwards goods, retail sales, warehousing or customer service and enjoys helping customers both in person and over the phone
• Can pick orders, maintain shop floor displays and ensure information provided is accurate
• Computer savvy and happy to learn new systems
