Job summary

MUFG Pension & Market Services in Australia is seeking an Administrator, Defined Benefits to support the administration of our clients' superannuation products. You will process defined benefits, review work, and collaborate with team members to ensure service levels and compliance.

The role requires 2+ years in superannuation/defined benefits administration, strong communication, Word/Excel skills, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement. Background checks apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years hands-on experience in Superannuation and/or Defined Benefits administration.
• Comprehensive knowledge of superannuation legislation and procedures.
• Experience with the principles of defined benefits is desirable.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent Word and Excel skills.
• Ability to think laterally and analytically.

Responsibilities

• Processing of defined benefits and related activities within SLAs.
• Conduct personal work queue sweeps to ensure all due work items are completed daily.
• Support Team Leader/Manager with teamwork to achieve objectives.
• Escalate IT or cross-area issues per escalation procedures.
• Advise specialists and team leader about risks to service standards.
• Act on rework feedback to reduce rework rate and meet efficiency targets.
• Process formal complaint information within 24 hours of receipt.
• Comply with AML, SIS and licence obligations, including ongoing skills development.
• Identify at least one productivity or process improvement annually.
• Show initiative for project work and update procedural documents.
