Zusammenfassung

Amentum is seeking a Systems Specialist for Logistics and Systems Engineering Database (AFHQ). The role supports the Defence AIR 6002 project by delivering logistics artefacts, DID development, and the systems engineering database.

Base options include RAAF Williamtown or Russell, Canberra, with occasional travel. The successful candidate will work under limited supervision, interact with SMEs and stakeholders, and contribute to the CDD, FPS, and logistics strategy for FLIFS.

Qualifikationen

• Analytical skills (Essential) required for evaluating logistics artefacts and DIDs.
• High level writing skills to produce clear CDDs and artefacts.
• Presentation skills to present to committees and boards.
• Experience with databases used for systems engineering and logistics data.
• Experience in Capability Development and Defence Acquisition.
• Experience with aircraft acquisition processes and related weapon-system logistics.

Aufgaben

• Develop of high quality, reliable CDD and artefacts, including a Logistics Management Plan and FPS.
• Represent VCDF at forums with stakeholders, operators and delivery agents.
• Draft ASDEFCON Data Item Descriptions (DID).
• Participate in commercial activities and tender evaluation.
• Present verbal and written reports to committees and boards.
• Liaise with the delivery organisation on database choice and design.
• Produce systems engineering database output as required by the project.
• Apply strategic guidance to deliver FLIFS capabilities.
• Populate and maintain the systems engineering database.
• Draft ASDEFCON DID and evaluate tenders.
