Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Systems Specialist Facilities – AFHQ to join the Defence AIR 6002 program. Based at RAAF Base Williamtown or Canberra Russell, you will develop CDD artefacts, liaison with the SEG and support facilities deliverables for the Future Lead-In Fighter system.

Active NV1 clearance is required, and travel may be needed. You will collaborate with stakeholders, draft ASDEFCON DID, monitor progress, and present reports to committees, contributing to secure project approvals and

Qualifications

Analytical skills essential for evaluating facilities requirements.
High level writing skills for formal artefacts and reports.
Strong communications abilities with stakeholders and teams.
Experience in facilities delivery and defence acquisition is preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop CDD artefacts and facilities statements of need for SEG approvals.
Represent VCDF at forums with stakeholders including operators and delivery agents.
Draft ASDEFCON Data Item Descriptions (DID).
Participate in commercial activities.
Monitor and report SEG progress and plans to the project team.
Present verbal and written reports to committees and boards.
Collaborate with stakeholders to determine facilities requirements from users and the project team.
Populate facilities elements of the systems engineering database.
