PlasmaLeap Technologies, a globally recognised Australian clean‑chemicals company, is seeking a Systems Safety Engineer to lead the safety program across multiple environments, including manufacturing and R&D. The role focuses on hazard analysis, risk assessment and safety-case development to ensure compliant, safe operations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in systems safety within defence or high‑risk industries.
• Strong knowledge of safety engineering standards and regulatory frameworks.
• Proven ability to lead safety programs, safety cases and assurance activities.

Responsabilités

• Lead the development and maintenance of the System Safety Program and Safety Case Reports.
• Direct safety assurance activities in line with ISSP.
• Review and develop safety cases for new and existing capabilities.
• Support engineering change activities by ensuring safety design integration.
• Review design requirements and deliverables for safety compliance.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with stakeholders on safety outcomes.
