Job summary

Saab Australia is seeking an aspiring Systems Engineer to join our Mawson Lakes, South Australia team. The role focuses on developing and sustaining defence capabilities through rigorous systems engineering practices.

You will work on gathering requirements, creating architecture, and integrating hardware and software with senior engineers, contributing to cutting-edge defence projects in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Up to 4 years’ experience in Engineering.
• Practitioner’s level in Systems Engineering (Requirements Management, System Architecture, Systems Integration, and/or Verification and Validation).
• Experience in complex systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyse system requirements from stakeholders.
• Develop requirements documentation and traceability matrices.
• Create system architecture and design specifications.
• Participate in design reviews and provide feedback to ensure system requirements are met.
• Assist in the integration of hardware and software components into the system.
• Work alongside senior engineers to implement system solutions and configurations.
