Job summary

Downer Professional Services in Adelaide, South Australia, is seeking a Sustainment Maintenance Support Lead to govern maintenance activities across SDA assets and ensure compliance with Defence policy.

You will collaborate with Integrated Product Support managers, manage maintenance data, and guide contractors to deliver high-quality outcomes in a regulated Defence environment. AGSVA clearance is required, ITAR exposure may apply, and a strong stakeholder network is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance governance within a Defence or regulated environment.
• Knowledge of maintenance management frameworks and asset management.
• Ability to analyse risks and advise senior stakeholders clearly.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and documentation review skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide governance and oversight of maintenance activities across SDA assets.
• Track planned maintenance and investigate deferred activities.
• Advise the Integrated Product Support Manager on risks and solutions.
• Review facilities, infrastructure and Government Furnished Materiel for compliance.
• Oversee maintenance personnel, inventory, and calibration requirements.
