Job summary

Downer Professional Services is recruiting a Governance Manager in Canberra (preferred) to lead governance across Defence Intelligence, ICT and Capability projects. You will develop and maintain governance frameworks, coordinate forums and manage artefacts and records to support oversight.

With AGSVA security requirements, the role involves ensuring adherence to Defence information management standards and engaging with senior stakeholders to drive compliant outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience managing governance activities within complex Defence, Government or large-scale ICT programs.
• Strong understanding of governance frameworks, assurance processes, records management and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and improve governance frameworks, processes and procedures aligned with Defence requirements.
• Coordinate governance forums, steering committees, project boards and executive meetings for effective decision-making.
• Maintain governance documentation, artefact registers, action registers and decision registers for project oversight.
