Job summary

Tardis Group is expanding its Canberra team to drive Defence, IT and SATCOM opportunities. This role focuses on building trusted relationships with Defence and Government, developing pipelines and capturing long-cycle opportunities in a dynamic market.

You will work with cross-functional teams to translate customer needs into commercial solutions and contribute to strategic growth across Australian Defence and Commonwealth Government sectors.

Qualifications

• Experience in Defence, IT, telecommunications or SATCOM sales.
• Understanding of Australian Defence and Commonwealth Government ecosystem.
• Ability to develop and manage long sales pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development strategies aligned with growth objectives.
• Identify opportunities across Defence, Government and primes.
• Build relationships with Defence, Government, industry stakeholders.
• Develop sales pipelines, account plans and capture strategies.
• Monitor procurement activity and tenders.
• Engage with customers to translate requirements into opportunities.
• Work with technical and delivery teams to develop customer solutions.
• Identify partnerships and channel relationships.
• Support responses to RFIs, RFTs, tenders, EOIs.
• Represent the company at industry events and meetings.
• Maintain CRM and provide forecasts.
• Provide market intelligence to senior leadership.
